This private reference resource cannot handle official Davidson County court matters. Requests for a court date, payment, case file, certified copy, or records access belong with the Davidson Clerk of Superior Court or the court that maintains the case. Public case information can be searched through the statewide eCourts Portal when available, but Portal is not an official court record. The routing below identifies the verified Davidson office that handles official court records and related questions.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Davidson County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It cannot obtain an official case file, change a hearing, reset a court date, seal a record, issue a certified copy, accept a court payment, or give legal advice. Direct those requests to the Clerk or court office that maintains the matter.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Official records and court action must go through the Davidson court system. The Clerk of Superior Court is the unified custodian for Davidson Superior and District Court files. Superior Court is the primary trial court for felony trials and civil actions over $25,000; District Court handles most traffic, misdemeanor, domestic, juvenile, and lower-value civil matters. Magistrates serve within the District Court division for assigned matters.

  • Public case information: search the eCourts Portal by case number or party name, then review the public Case Summary / Register of Actions.
  • A court date or hearing: use Portal Search Hearings and the case Hearings section, then contact the Clerk or relevant court office when a setting must be confirmed.
  • An official docket, filed document, or certified copy: contact the Davidson Clerk, the custodian of the court file, with the case number and document requested.
  • A traffic payment or citation issue: use the official Davidson payment information and follow the citation or Clerk instructions.
  • A court office phone or service: consult the Davidson court contact directory for the Clerk, Superior Court, District Court, and magistrate contacts.

For Davidson court dockets, records, dates, and payments, contact the Davidson Clerk of Superior Court at 110 W. Center Street, Lexington, NC 27292, or call 336-242-6701. Portal can help locate public information, but it cannot issue an official record or override a sealed, confidential, or restricted case. Paper files that existed before Davidson's October 2025 eCourts conversion remain available through the Clerk where public access is permitted. File & Serve is the electronic filing system, not the public case-search route.
